Representation & integration

Bring your waste and recycling technology to the French market.

Developing technology for waste or recycling? NextWaste works with you to assess its fit with the French market, define a representation model and examine the requirements for on-site integration.

Who this page is for

Manufacturers, software publishers and technical teams in waste and recycling.

This page is for companies developing artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensors, IoT or robotics for waste and recycling that are considering the French market.

Equipment manufacturers

Analysers, sensors, vision systems or robots for materials recovery facilities (MRFs), waste-to-energy plants, recycling centres or textile sorting.

Software and AI publishers

Recognition models, data platforms or waste stream monitoring tools that rely on measurements taken on site.

Start-ups and R&D teams

Technologies still being validated that want to test their fit with the needs of French operators.

Market fit

Does your solution meet a real need in France?

Before any commercial approach, we compare your technology with what we see at the sites we support. This review covers:

  • Target applications and waste streams: separately collected recyclables, residual household waste, commercial and industrial waste, bulky waste, textiles, deliveries to waste-to-energy plants.
  • Facility types: materials recovery facilities, waste-to-energy plants, recycling centres, textile sorting sites, industrial sites.
  • Operational needs: what decisions the measurement must support, how often, and for whom.
  • Available evidence: trials completed, deployments, technical documentation, validation conditions.
  • Constraints to check: safety, line environment, data, maintenance, applicable regulations.
Commercial representation

Introducing your technology to the right people.

Once the fit is established, NextWaste can represent your solution to French operators, local authorities and industrial companies. The scope is agreed together, in writing:

Commercial scope

Types of customers, facilities and territories covered, offers presented and each party’s role in the customer relationship.

Opportunity qualification

Identifying relevant projects, holding first discussions with sites and passing on qualified enquiries, as agreed.

Responsibilities

What falls to your company, to NextWaste and to the customer: offer, contract, delivery, warranty, support. Nothing is left implicit.

Representation is neither automatic nor exclusive by default. The model chosen, including any resale by NextWaste, is described in its exact scope before any commitment. Here, representation means commercial representation, not a regulatory mandate or a role under an extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme.

Trials and integration

Preparing your solution for on-site integration.

A technology that convinces in a demonstration still has to find its place on a working line. Depending on the agreed assignment, we prepare the following with you and the site:

  • Trial conditions: measurement point, duration, reference for comparison and success criteria, defined before the trial.
  • Interfaces: connection to existing equipment, data exchange, network access and security.
  • Installation and training: planning the installation with the operator and training the teams.
  • Follow-up: help with interpreting results and feedback from use, as agreed.

The services covered are written into each agreement. By default, NextWaste does not take on the whole installation, maintenance or support.

How it works

Four steps, with no commitment at the start.

  1. First discussion

You present your technology, your company and what you are looking for in France.

  2. Review of the solution

We look at its maturity, the available evidence and the waste streams it applies to.

  3. Study of constraints

Market, relevant facilities, trial and integration conditions, issues to resolve.

  4. Next steps

If we go ahead, we agree the scope, the stages and each party’s responsibilities.

Partnerships and independence

Declared relationships, a separate framework for owner’s advisory work.

NextWaste already represents and integrates partner technologies in France under declared commercial partnerships, presented on our About page. NextWaste has no equity link with any of them. A partnership is not a customer reference, a testimonial or an exclusive agreement.

Our commitment to local authorities. For an owner’s advisory assignment, we disclose our commercial relationships at the outset. We do not bid for procurement arising from that assignment, either ourselves or with a partner, and we do not accept remuneration from the supplier selected for that assignment.

In France, this role is known as assistance à maîtrise d’ouvrage (AMO): we advise the project owner, typically a local authority, before and during a purchase. It therefore never gives privileged access to the procurement of the local authorities we advise. Read about our owner’s advisory service

Frequently asked questions

Before you get in touch.

What level of maturity do you expect?

None is ruled out at the outset. Tell us the current stage of your solution, the trials already completed and the type of collaboration you are looking for. Reviewing a solution does not commit us to representing it.

Is exclusivity standard?

No. The scope and terms of any representation are agreed case by case, in writing.

What does integration cover?

Whatever is agreed for each project: the equipment and interfaces concerned, trials, each party’s responsibilities and the services provided, such as training or follow-up. Nothing is covered by default.

How does this relate to your owner’s advisory work?

Through written commitments. For an owner’s advisory assignment, we disclose our commercial relationships at the outset, we do not bid for the resulting procurement, either ourselves or with a partner, and we do not accept remuneration from the supplier selected.
