SERVICES AND CONSULTING

Advisory, characterisation and AI owner’s advisory for the waste sector.

Understanding your waste streams better, assessing a technology, preparing a project: every assignment starts from the decision you have to make. With your teams and the other parties involved at the site, we define what needs to be measured, how to test it and what you will receive at the end.

Advisory and owner’s advisory

Scope the need, prepare the decision.

In this framework, our role is to help you decide: diagnose your waste streams, compare the solutions on the market, prepare a procurement process, then check that the expected results are delivered. The scope of each assignment is defined in writing before it starts.

Diagnostics and feasibility

Audit of waste streams and sites, initial characterisation, identification of performance opportunities and risks (fire, contaminants, residues), technical and economic feasibility and specification of the measurement need, with a comparison of the solutions on the market against explicit criteria.

AI owner’s advisory for local authorities

For local authorities’ sorting facilities, recycling centres and waste-to-energy plants, we act as your AI lead: scoping, programme, trials, acceptance and ongoing management, with a written independence commitment.

Expertise in complex waste streams

For waste streams without an established industrial solution, such as asbestos, hazardous waste and brominated plastics from electrical and electronic equipment, we qualify and specify breakthrough technologies (LIBS, X-ray fluorescence, vision, robotics) and manage proofs of concept.

Integration and support

Set up the measurement, make it useful.

To study a solution that NextWaste can supply, organise the trials, integrate it, train teams and support its use. Our commercial partnerships are declared.

Pilot and trials

Choice of the useful measurement point, trial protocol and comparison with reference characterisations, before any long-term commitment.

Integration and training

Installation at your site, end-to-end project support and training for your teams.

Monitoring and interpretation

Regular reports, help with interpreting the results and simple alerts, as provided for in the contract.

Our deployment method

Our owner’s advisory role

Clear the uncertainty, secure your choice.

For new or hazardous waste streams, the market offer is scarce and uneven. We act as owner’s adviser: we test the available technologies against your specifications, organise the trials and give you an evidence-based decision rather than a supplier’s promise.

  • Independence: no capital ties with equipment manufacturers, and a written separation in owner’s advisory assignments
  • Evidence from trials before any commitment
  • Specification of the need, clear and reusable
  • Control of the data and of outlets

NextWaste has no capital ties with equipment manufacturers. Our integration activity relies on declared commercial partnerships. Owner’s advisory assignments fall under a separate framework, with the separation commitments set out in our owner’s advisory offer.

Technology watch

A skill shared by both frameworks: following emerging technologies and regulatory change, including extended producer responsibility (EPR) and the French anti-waste law (AGEC), to inform your investment decisions.

Technology partners

Are you a manufacturer or a software publisher? NextWaste also supports technology partners in France: market research, strategy and commercial representation.
